Bristan is a good shower manufacturer, a great range of stylish showers, but just like most manufactures they slip in a ‘lemon’. Along with all manufacturers its best to check the minimum requirements for your shower and go for the lowest minimum head specified if you want to get the best performance.
Bristan showers have been assessed for their suitability for use with gravity systems. Most of their showers transform from OK/fair/poor to excellent with our showerpowerbooster. Please check with supplier as specifications can change but Briston appear to have an excellent range.
Excellent For Gravity Showers (specified as needing 1 metre minimum head):-
ARTISAN, JUTE, QUADRANT, QUEST, RIO, SOLO, SONIQUE,
Good/Excellent For Gravity Showers (specified as needing 2 metres minimum head):-
CHILL, NERO, OVAL, PRISM, QUBE, COOL CHROME.
Bristan have other showers including the BRISTAN QUADRATO THERMOSTATIC which needs 3 metres minimum head.
We have sold showerpowerboosters to customers with this particular shower but please do not expect miracles as even with out showerpowerbooster the shower can only be described as fair/good after fitting our booster.
The Bristan range also include a ‘value’ shower sold on ebay but it is not described as a value shower which is not suitable:-

You can use your common sense on this on. If it needs 5 metres minimum head you would need a four storey house and even then it would only work in the basement.It is possible to replace the internal components within the ‘value’ shower with superior components from Briston to match the performance of other better suited showers.
